The Center for Innovations in Education and Mixed Education has been opened at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University. Issues of digitalization of the process of higher education were discussed at the round table on the topic "Innovations in research: digital solutions and modern methods".
Scientists of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University this year won a grant from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science. As part of the scientific project, large-scale research is conducted. Innovations in education and the opening of a mixed learning center are only the beginning of work in this direction.
According to the leader of the scientific project, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Svetlana Bakhisheva, the students are now working on the implementation of various digital resources, video content, gamification and interactive tools in the training of future specialists. Magzhan Kairanbai, a senior machine learning engineer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, joined the meeting via video link and conducted a master class on techniques for writing scientific articles. The teachers asked their questions and were satisfied with the experience of Malaysian universities. Doctor of philosophy Ekaterina Tikhonyuk says that the benefits of artificial intelligence in the field of education are huge. In universities of developed countries, both teachers and students widely use digital resources. The young scientist was convinced of this by improving his qualifications in the USA.
- Implementation of artificial intelligence in the educational process is a requirement of time. Because now there are many students who study remotely or in a mixed model. There is a need to create content that can be used anywhere in the world, in any time zone. Now, not only students, but also teachers often go to foreign countries to improve their qualifications, exchange experience, participate in seminars and conferences. Therefore, the introduction of digital tools is very important in order not to delay the educational process, - says Ekaterina Tikhonyuk.
