Modern conditions of world development determine new directions of the educational paradigm in the digital society. Information technologies in education make it possible to develop new qualities of future specialists by organizing innovative methods of communication between a teacher and a student. While the traditional teaching format was focused on the direct interaction of the teacher and the student in the classroom, blended learning using digital resources now requires changes in the curriculum, structure, learning resources and teaching methods. In this regard, within the framework of the theme “Pedagogical design of blended learning in higher education based on the integration of digital educational technologies”, which won the competition for grant funding of scientific and (or) scientific and technical projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2022, 05-06 January 2023, the project participants held a seminar on “Pedagogical design in the digital era”. The teaching staff of the Department of “Pedagogy and Psychology”, “Natural Science disciplines”, “History and Law” of the Pedagogical Faculty of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology took part.
During the seminar, PhD, Professor S. M. Bakhisheva made a presentation on the topic: “Pedagogical design of blended learning in the digital age”; Ph.D., Associate Professor Kinzhekova R. S. comprehensively covered the issue of the content of updating educational programs in the context of digital education; Ph.D., Associate Professor Kazhiakparova Zh.S. shared the experience of effective practical application of the Google formula, BANDICAM program, Canva in the educational process; M. P. N. teacher Mukhtar Z. N. The MOE systematized, scientifically substantiated and outlined the ways of practical development of methodological recommendations for development in the form of presentations, video lectures.
The teachers’ interest in the issues raised at the seminar was at a high level. This fact was established during the conducted and analyzed input and output surveys.
